Bank of Springfield recently welcomed Dan Wilcoxen to the #BOSFamily.

Dan is a Senior Vice President at BOS and will work closely with the management team on growth strategies and overall bank goals.  He brings 16 years of extensive banking experience to BOS and worked previously as President for a community bank.

The bank’s strong community focus aligns perfectly with my personal vision of what a community bank should be.  This culture makes me excited to build relationships with clients and share my experiences with the talented team at BOS while contributing to the growth and success of this company and the communities that it serves.

Dan Wilcoxen, Senior Vice President

Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his master’s in accountancy from University of Illinois Springfield.  He and his wife Angela live in Chatham and have three kids, Carly (University of Kentucky), Ben (Greenville University), and Emma (Glenwood High School).

Dan is an active member in the community and currently serves on the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation as a Board Member (2020 – Present) and the Springfield Old Capitol Art Fair (2007 – Present, Chair 2019).  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Illinois CPA Society.  Dan previously served as a board member and president of Senior Services of Central Illinois (2007 – 2013).

I am thrilled that Dan Wilcoxen has joined our BOS team.  His expertise and commitment to community banking is a great addition to BOS.
