This all-star team—Julie B., Lyn P., Ryan B., Tim W., and Brandon G.—has not only exemplified excellence in their individual roles but has also set a high standard for collaboration and innovation. Their ability to unite around a shared goal, support one another, and push boundaries has been instrumental in advancing one of our key internal projects. Embracing Variety: How Julie B. Keeps BOS Moving
For Julie B., no two days at BOS are ever the same and that’s exactly what she loves most about her work.
“I enjoy that every day I come to work is a new day with a different experience from the rest. One day, I could be putting a loan in, the next I could be setting up a luncheon for 25 people, and the next I might be organizing an event for 350 people. It’s enjoyable to be involved in so many different things at the bank, and it allows me to work with many employees and departments along the way.”

Leading Through Teamwork: Brandon G.’s Perspective
For Brandon G., the energy of the job comes from its constant evolution and the people who make it all possible.

Beyond the Branch: Tim W.’s Passion for Growth and Community
For Tim W., being part of BOS goes far beyond managing daily operations, it’s about connection, contribution, and community.
“I enjoy all the different areas I’m able to contribute to the bank outside of just being a Branch Manager. I love working with my team in the branch, but I also enjoy being active in the community—whether it’s teaching Serve Smarter, being a guest on Sports Radio1450 AM, joining BOS podcasts, or lending my voice to marketing projects. As part of this Admin Team, I’ve learned so much about the new platform, and I enjoy sharing that knowledge to help my teammates grow and boost our efficiency. Every job is what you make of it. If you want to branch out and learn new things, you can! Use your strengths. Step into something new. Hard work pays off—and it’s incredibly rewarding"

Growth Through Perspective: Ryan B.’s Approach to Leadership
For Ryan B., one of the most powerful lessons he’s learned isn’t about numbers or strategy, it’s about people and perspective.
"One key lesson I’ve learned in my role that has significantly contributed to my professional growth is the value of engaging with perspectives I don’t always agree with. Disagreement can be a powerful catalyst for growth. By listening to and understanding differing viewpoints, I’ve gained deeper insights, sharpened my critical thinking, and become more able and willing to adapt to other perspectives. Embracing respectful disagreement has not only broadened my perspective but also strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively, knowing it’s okay—and even productive to not always align on every point."
