Welcome to the #BOSFamily, Blake Scheer!

Bank of Springfield recently welcomed Blake Scheer to the #BOSFamily.

Blake joined BOS in Fall 2022 and is a Vice President and Branch Manager at our Quincy 48thStreet location in Quincy, Ill. He recently moved to Illinois from Michigan where he spent 7 years working at a community bank.

He brings over 15 years of experience in banking and lending to the Quincy community and serves BOS customers by identifying solutions that enhance their personal and business growth.

Blake quickly became engaged in the community when he made the move to Quincy. He is a member of the Noon Kiwanis Club, the Resource Investment Group with United Way of Adams County, and serves on committees within Safe and Livable Housing and the Quincy Art Center. In January 2023, Blake was made an ambassador for the Quincy Chamber of Commerce and volunteers regularly with The District and the local Rotary group.

Blake is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and the University of Phoenix. He lives in Quincy with his partner Kris and their three dogs Luna, Brax, and Linus.
