What to Expect - Logging in for the First Time


  1. Log into BOS Online Banking and BOS Mobile Banking App
    Your username and password will remain the same after the upgrade.
  2. Complete Security Verification
    You will be prompted for two-factor authentication the first time you log into online banking and the mobile app by phone call or text message.
  3. Accept the Digital Banking Terms and Conditions
    Review and accept our updated Digital Banking Service Agreement.
  4. Enable Biometrics
    If you previously set up biometrics to log in on your mobile device (i.e., face ID, fingerprint) you will need to re-enable that setting.

Frequently Asked Questions


Why are these upgrades being made?

The upgrade will display a more cohesive, user-friendly interface across our online and mobile banking platforms.

Will there be a new BOS Mobile Banking App that I need to download?

There will be an updated version of the current BOS Mobile Banking App.

Will my mobile app update automatically?

Yes. If you have your phone set to update apps automatically, the app should update. If you log in before your phone updates the app, you may be prompted to visit the app store to complete the update.

Will I need a new password for online and mobile banking?

No. Your password will remain the same after the upgrade.

I am not sure of my password, can I reset it?

Yes. Select ‘Forgot Password’ from the BOS Digital Banking screen

I forgot my username, can I reset it?

Yes. Call us at 877-698-3278 during business hours to talk to a BOS Customer Care Representative and they will reset your username.

Will my mobile app still recognize my saved biometrics?

No. If you have previously set up biometrics (i.e. face ID), you will need re-enable that setting.

Will my saved online and mobile banking alerts transfer to the new system?

If you have previously set up alerts (i.e. debit card usage, account balance, etc.), they will transfer to the new platform.

Set up new mobile banking alerts through the mobile banking app.

Will my Bill Pay payee and scheduled information transfer to the new system?

Yes. All of your payee information as well as past transactions will be available.

Will Manage My Cards be available on the new system?

Manage My Cards, our card control tools, will be available in both online and mobile banking.

Will the upgrade affect my online banking login page bookmark?

If you previously bookmarked the login page, it will not work after the update.

Will my QuickBooks or Quicken access be available on the new system?

Yes, but you will need to modify some setting to ensure that your data connectivity transfers smoothly to the new system. The linked documents below contain detailed instructions. Please note, the 1st Action Date is September 25, 2024, and the 2nd Action Date is October 1, 2024.

Can I still manage my accounts with text banking in the new system?

No.  BOS Online and Mobile Banking provide an easy alternative to text banking that allows you to manage your account from anywhere.
